Birth by Nature founder, Rachael McLeod also runs Products by Nature with her husband Terry Gibson from their home in regional Victoria. Many of the birth, pregnancy and women-centred products have been used by Rachael in her work as a Doula

"Products by Nature provides products that enhance your health & well-being. Much of our range is either organic, environmentally safe or from sustainable sources. We have many products that may be of a benefit in differing ways, such as belly bags for expecting mums & CD's for inner peace.

We are an Australian owned and operated business, who love the world we live in and want to do our part in sustaining the planet for generations to come. We aim to make a difference in our local community and that of communities from where we source some of our products. We are proud and committed to donating 10% of all of our operating profits into these communities.

Much of our birth, pregnancy and women-centred products have been used by Rachael in her work as a Doula offering birth support through Birth By Nature and with our own two children.

Our family has travelled widely and experienced so many wonderful cultures, people and places. On these travels, we have come to realise that all people of the world are inter-connected and we have a responsibility to look after one other. After a recent seven month trip to India, we found the inspiration to launch a business that promoted natural health and wellbeing whilst at the same time encouraging a greater awareness of the damage many mainstream products bring with them.

We decided to step away from the everyday comforts that secure jobs in the big city can bring, and throw ourselves into some charity work with a small organisation that helped street children gain an education, shelter and self-esteem. We contributed in many ways through our interactions with the children, teaching remedial English at their school, helping in the residential homes and playing games at every opportunity! We had our own children with us, who were age 7 and 8. This opened up so many wonderful experiences for us as a family and helped us to re-evaluate our priorities in our own lives. Now back in our home in rural Victoria, we are harnessing the energy gained on this amazing adventure and channelling this into Products by Nature."
