I am an old fashioned cynic who questioned the benefit and certainly the cost of using Rachel to assist Cindy with the birth of our children.
I am prepared to admit that I just didn't understand how important her presence would be to both of us. During the birth of our daughter as those around us started to 'flap' Rachel remained a sea of calm. She kept my wife focused on the birth and helped us delivery our baby girl just as we had hoped, naturally.
Rachel's no nonsense, calm, pragmatic approach to assisting not only Cindy but me as well cannot be overemphasised. The only way you'll appreciate the benefit of Rachael at your birth is by having her there to experience it for yourself.

Exploring Birth – 2011
An Intimate Workshop with a Holistic approach to Pregnancy, Birth and Early Parenthood
For centuries women embarking on the mystery of childbirth have been taught, guided and encouraged by women experienced in birth. This Workshop is for pregnant women and couples who are embarking on this journey to get in touch with the essence of what birth is really about.
The day will be relaxed, fun, and intimate. We will convey many possibilities to you of what birth can be, opening many avenues for you to explore. Most importantly we will be giving you tools to navigate this whole experience, wherever it may take you – with the aim to be educated, informed and conscious.
Topics covered will include- Introduction to Hypnobirthing and relaxation techniques/Fear and its role in birth/men and birth/Practical skills for labour/Working with challenges/Creating your special birth space/creating a connection with your baby.
